You Don’t Have to Navigate Life’s Struggles Alone: Integrative Individual & Couples Therapy in Washington, DC for Healing, Meaning, and Growth
I know it’s not always easy to seek support. Sometimes we wait because we think we should be able to handle things on our own, or because what we’re feeling is hard to name. But many forms of suffering don’t fit neatly into categories. You may be dealing with some anxiety, depression, stress, grief, infidelity, relationship challenges, or the uncertainty that comes with life transitions. Maybe you’re struggling with religious or childhood trauma, or deeper existential questions about meaning, purpose, and who you are becoming. Whatever you are struggling with, you don’t have to move through it alone.
I utilize my 25 years experience in mindfulness in my work with adults and couples in Washington, DC (and soon in Silver Spring, Maryland) using an integrative approach grounded in a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. For some, this means gently exploring the roots of their suffering through existential and psychodynamic work — making sense of old patterns, inner conflicts, and the stories that shape how you relate to yourself and others. For others, structured CBT strategies provide clear, practical tools for navigating overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I frequently work with people that are reflecting on meaning and spirituality — whether you’re questioning long-held beliefs, working through religious trauma, navigating a shift in worldview, or simply trying to understand what matters most. It can be a profound part of finding a direction and a more authentic way of living.
I am a bilingual Italian dual citizen with a lived experience & understanding of clients who have experienced or are currently experiencing dual citizenship stressors. I am passionate about my work with LGBTQIA+ Folx, clients & couples navigating cultural experiences of being in Bi-Racial Relationships, and clients in high performance careers seeking to find more meaning & purpose in their work and in the world.
Whatever your reason for coming in for help, my aim is to create a space where your experience is seen and understood, your strengths are recognized, and your growth becomes possible — at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
