Compassionate, Evidence-Based, In-Person Therapy for Individuals & Couples in Silver Spring, Maryland and Virtually in Washington, DC

I provide therapy to teenagers, young adults, adults, and couples in Silver Spring, Maryland and in Washington, DC. I help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, self-esteem, and high-risk behaviors such as suicidality, self-harm, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I have received extensive training in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) from Behavioral Tech Institute.

I have a passion for serving underrepresented groups including the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC populations. I believe in the importance of using evidence-based practices to drive long-lasting change while maintaining a compassionate and collaborative approach with my clients. I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I strive to help them build a life worth living.

Recognizing that every individual is unique, I focus on building strong therapeutic relationships by incorporating each client’s cultural background and values into the therapeutic process. I utilize DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), and mindfulness-based approaches to support my clients’ growth and healing. I have experience with providing higher levels of care.

I hold two Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and Forensic and Legal Psychology (FLP) from Marymount University. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Binghamton University. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I have been actively involved in volunteer organizations and initiatives while engaging in meaningful experiences with diverse individuals
