Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) that always strives to express a collaborative, warm, empathetic, and compassionate working relationship with her clients. One of her main aspirations in therapy is to meet clients where they are, not where societal expectations or biases feel they should be. Her belief is that each person is unique as is their story and her treatment emphasizes this.
With the aid of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic therapy (or whole body), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Victoria personalizes treatment to each client that is appropriate and goal-directed.
Victoria treats clients from all stages and walks of life, including children, grounded in the principles of equity and inclusivity, and is dedicated to serving all clients with dignity and respect. She specializes in the treatment of trauma related disorders, depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She has specialized certification and training in trauma and is currently working towards her certification in somatic therapy.
Victoria has a deep passion for working with clients of the military and military families, including active duty and those transitioning to civilian life. She also enjoys working with peripartum, postpartum and fertility clients, and anyone who feels they have experienced trauma. With this said, she loves seeing all clients that are motivated for change.
Victoria has her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her dog, snuggling up with a good book and her cat, spending time with family, knitting, engaging in Vagal nerve toning exercises and yoga, and watching documentaries and true crime.
