General Overview:
Darby Integrative Counseling, LLC has multiple openings to contract with psychotherapists to join our collegial, collaborative, and thriving private practice. We are in need of a variety of specialized therapists licensed in DC, MD, VA, and/or Telehealth Compact providers to meet the needs of our current client waitlist. Therapists must have an interest in 10+ clients a week with flexible scheduling available to meet client needs (days, evenings, and weekends).
Contracted clinicians make up to $85-$100 per clinical hour*

We are seeking motivated, creative, and compassionate therapists who have advanced training in trauma, addictions, and/or sex therapy. Interest and experience working with the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and Kink/Poly communities required.
Eligible candidates must be well organized, empathic, open-minded and curious. They must be confident, self-starters who able to learn and utilize sales and marketing strategies provided to them. Clinicians must be willing to create short form blog and video content for our marketing team to utilize to help the therapist obtain clients.
*Hourly Fee Schedule Dependent Upon Level of Licensure and/or Certification and Size of Caseload Maintained
Independent Therapists Engage In:
- Psychotherapy within their own area(s) of expertise: adults, couples, children, and/or families.
- Completion of short progress notes, minimalist treatment plans, and reports as is clinically necessary
- Converting client leads into
- Collection and retainment of client payments so there is immediate cash flow from the start of your contract with the practice
Independent Therapist Requirements:
- Clinicians who are well organized, self-starters, empathic, open-minded, and curious.
- Experience treating some(or all of the following): Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Additions and Trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD, Attachment)
- Independently licensed (LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT or PsyD/PhD) candidates preferred
- LGPC’s and LGMFT’s will be considered dependent upon clinical acumen. LMSW’s are not eligible based upon 1099 contract position
- Licensure in DC and Maryland. Additional licensure in VA, other states, and Telehealth State Compacts preferred.

- Administration, billing, and insurance support & guidance to teach you how to help clients (and yourself) through the maze of healthcare reimbursement
- Be your own boss: Choose the number of clients, populations you want to serve, and location of work
- Sales and Marketing ideas and advice to increase client leads, conversions, and engagement
- Consultation on best practices to ensure legal and ethical compliance to reduce liability
- Assistance getting you the highest reimbursement rates in the industry with policies such as Aetna, Cigna, United Behavioral Health

- HIPAA Compliant Portals: Telehealth Platform and Email, Google Workspace, Theranest EMR
- Informed Consent documents to get you started in building a legal, ethical, and HIPAA compliant practice (Intake Questionnaire, Clinical Screening Tools, Credit Card Authorization, Termination letter, Release of Information and more!)
- Introduction to a wide professional network with other psychotherapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, primary care physician offices, hospitals, group practices, and inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities
- Collaboration with our team of seasoned and diverse therapists for guidance
